Southampton boss Jan Poortvliet wants his underdogs to recapture the spirit of 1976 when they host Manchester United in the FA Cup third round on Sunday.
The Red Devils were huge favourites to see off Lawrie McMenemy's second division Saints at Wembley 33 years ago, but Bobby Stokes' goal gave the south coast side a 1-0 victory and their only major trophy.
