Last season, Hull were beaten 3-1 by Liverpool at the KC Stadium. Dutch forward Dirk Kuyt, who has been in good form for the Reds recently, netted twice for Rafa Benitez's side then. Hull's start to this season has been the complete opposite of what happened last time around. A brace from Fernando Torres allowed Liverpool to see off the challenge of Gianfranco Zola's West Ham United 2-1 last week. Torres scored the Reds' opener and their third goal against the Hammers.
Benitez made nine changes when Liverpool visited Elland Road on Tuesday night in a midweek Carling Cup fixture. The Reds won 1-0 thanks to David Ngog's second half strike.
