France vs Ireland live- November 18 2009 World Cup

Watch France vs Republic of Ireland live as it happens on November 18, 2009 ( Wednesday)

The qualifying fate of France and Ireland will be decided this Wednesday when the two sides meet in the second leg of their 2010 World Cup playoff tie in Paris.  France lead 1-0 from the first leg at Croke Park, and that precious away goal puts them in the drivers' seat going into this game.

The French won 1-0 in Dublin thanks to Nicolas Anelka's second half effort. The Irish were outraged when Lassana Diarra verbally abused Keith Andrews towards the end of the game, and their captain Robbie Keane has said the side will give it their all in Saint-Denis.

France will be without defender Eric Abidal and midfielder Jeremy Toulalan. The duo have pulled out of this game due to injury.  Sunderland's Andy Reid was omitted by Trapattoni in the first leg, and he may be pushed into the squad to give it a new dimension going forward.
